I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in the south of Krabi, right on Had Yao beach. The hotel's location was perfect for me as it was away from the tourist trail, providing a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. I loved being able to enjoy the stunning beachfront views from the restaurant while indulging in a delicious breakfast, which included fresh fruit. The attention to detail in the hotel's design and landscape was impressive, creating a modern contemporary ambiance. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had a big comfortable bed in the middle, perfect for a good night's sleep. the hotel offered excellent value for money, providing all the basic amenities one would need for a comfortable stay.
Everything was just fine, no improvements needed.

We were told at check-in the Restaurant closed at 22:00. They also said we should however order by 21:00. As we got there, at 20:25, the waitress told us that she would take the order but that we had to get dinner at our room, altpught on the menu was clearly written "Open Time 19:00 - 22:00. Last order, 21.00". I told them I was having my dinner there, whatever she said. We argued for 5 minutes, then she accepted us staying at the restaurant! I am very sorry if they wanted to go home, but I payed for a service I was no t going to have dinner on my room after paying 2.200 Baht for a night just for a room and a Breakfast that took 45 minutes to arrive, next morning: pancake, omelette and fresh fruit!

Convenient location! It's super close to the airport and just a quick 15-minute car ride to Koh Jum. 🌴

Friendly staff. Restaurant it's ok but expensive for the quality.
It's in the middle of nowhere. At least 40 minutes drive from Krabi town. The beach is very dirty, not for swimming.

It is directly on a long sandy (if somewhat shelly, beach), 30 minutes drive from Krabi airport.
On arrival, we were told that there were 2 complementary bottles of water in the room. On departure, we were told that we had used the 2 bottles from the fridge - these were not the complementary ones, which were by the basin, and we had to pay for the "fridge" ones we had drunk! Needless to say, I left apoplectic with rage.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The pool was beautiful, overlooking the beach with a fantastic view of the calm sea. The hotel's design and landscape were above average, making it worth the journey if you are driving. The peaceful and quiet surroundings were perfect for relaxation. The staff were friendly and the village surrounding the hotel was worth exploring.
Don't have any issues at all.

The free internet access.
The owners/management of the hotel have failed to maintain the basics. The pool area is surrounded by wooden decking which at one time was probably very nice. When we stayed there however, it was uneven rotten in places, with rusty nails protruding from it. The sunloungers were also in a very poor condition, with black mould and torn covers on the cushions. The staff were also not very concerned with clearing up - we woke up one morning to find cocktail glasses from the night before still on the tables beside the loungers, and broken glass which was on one of the walls when we arrived was still there two days later. The restaurant was of cafe standard with a menu which was peppered with "out of stock" stickers. They also operate a strict 9pm curfew on orders, we couldn't even order dessert at 9:03 pm because the kitchen was closed, even though the restaurant was open until 10:00 pm. The isolation of the resort was quite a worry when we both came down with a stomach bug on the second day of our stay. We checked out the next morning.

Remote location was peaceful and perfect for our romantic escape. Dinner on the terrace overlooking the sea was a highlight, and staff were friendly. Best aspects: Our room was large and bright, with lovely wooden furniture. the free excursions were a nice touch, and the beach and pool were clean and well-maintained.
The restaurant menu was limited, and not always to our liking. Service was hit or miss - sometimes attentive, but other times we had to ask multiple times for things.

Peace seclusion away from mass tourist spots
Same menu which after four days would get a little boring and maybe needs rotating

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an excellent 'get away from it all' break. Although the hotel is a 45 minute drive from Krabi Town, it compensates by offering free trips to Ao Nang & Krabi Town & it's attractions. The hotel offers excellent service, great attention to detail & very friendly. The rooms are modern & very spacious. The villa's with the private pool, are excellent value for money. The restaurant serves excellent authentic Thai food, which is reasonably priced.
We cannot fault this hotel at all!

Best for couples who wants to stay away from the crowd as the resort caters to a very small number of guests. Very friendly and helpful staffs who made our stay in the resort even more memorable. Although the resort is relatively far from Ao Nang (around 45mins drive from Ao Nang), it is still feasible to visit Ao Nang with the cab service or go for day tours which the resort will be able to recommend and help to make the arrangements. The breakfast provided is very nice and the thai cuisine served by their in house restaurant tastes pretty decent too. As there are no convenience stores around, it is recommended to pack some snacks with you for those between meals cravings.
